Producer Jon Landau introduces 'Avatar' on Blu-ray

Jon Landau, executive producer of James Cameron's phenomenally successful film Avatar and Twentieth Century Fox Home Entertainment, recently hosted a press day introducing the April 22 release of Avatar on Blu-ray--participating in one-on-one interviews with selected members of the press, as well as roundtable discussions. Cable co's team up for NYC Wi-Fi; iPhone 4G leaks; and the new MacBook Pros

This week, we check out a new plan from cable providers Comcast, Time Warner, and Cablevision to offer reciprocal Wi-Fi hot-spot access in the NYC area--seems good on paper, but none of us have ever stumbled across a cable company hot spot.

If you don't want to wait for that, it seems that Palm and Verizon are giving away Palm Pre phones for a hard-to-resist single penny. We follow this up with a quick look at the pros and cons (no pun intended) of the latest MacBook Pro laptops.

Finally, get in on this week's video game giveaway with a chance to snag a copy of Grand Theft Auto: Episodes from Liberty City, just released for the PS3. To win, listen to the show (but as you probably know by now, it involves a visit to our Facebook page).
